We are looking for two new positions a Trust Secretary and an Office Administrator, if this suits you then please read on:
Trust Board Secretary Position

Mutunga o Wharekauri Iwi Trust seeks applications for a Trust Board
Secretary. This is an essential role that requires a high amount of
senior level experience.
The role will include:
• Providing secretariat support to the Trust Board including co-ordinating agendas, developing papers and recording minutes
• Supporting the Trustees in administering the distribution of benefits
• Supporting the Trustees in fulfilling their on-island representational duties
• Supervising an on-island Trust Administrator
• Liasing with Registrar and overseeing communications to beneficiaries
The position requires a multi
talented person willing to take on this role. This role is not
necessarily island based and so if successful, you will need to be able
to travel to the Chatham Islands on at least a bi-monthly basis to
attend board hui. This role will is expected to be no more than 0.25 of
and FTE.
You will possess
• Senior management experience
• Some Trustee, Director experience or Board / Committee Secretariat support
• Experience working with Maori Organisations
• Staff management experience

Office Administrator Position.

office administrator to perform a wide range of tasks.
The role will include:
• General Office Administration Support
• Administrative Support to the Trust Board
• Administration support for the Whānaungatanga Fund
• Administrative Support to Trustees Undertaking their Duties
The position requires a multi
talented person willing to take on this role. So if you are a
trustworthy, reliable individual and are happy to work from 8.30am to
5.30pm 3 days a week, then this is the role for you.
Do you have:
- Excellent organisational skills
- Competent Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- The ability to manage and prioritise tasks
